Westlife’s comeback train is full steam ahead: the group announced a string of UK and Ireland shows for 2019, with several extra dates added due to demand. A phenomenal chart success, Westlife went on to release ten studio albums throughout their career, all of which charted within the top five of the Official UK Albums Chart and six of which peaked at No.1.  In total, the band have released 14 chart-topping singles, including My Love, World of Our Own, Unbreakable, You Raise Me Up and the hugely successful cover version of the Billy Joel song Uptown Girl.

Manchester’s predominantly female fans were treated to two decades of pop hits as the lads celebrate 20 years and they were soon on their feet singing along as canons blasted confetti into the audience and there were spectacular pyro’s as well. It is clear they were back with a bang and as thousands of fans screamed with delight, the 7 year hiatus has done nothing to dampen their popularity. Steve Farrell was there to capture the Irish stars and their spectacular return to music for us.
