DERMOT KENNEDY today releases the brand-new video for latest single ‘LOST’, ahead of his sold-out UK tour starting May 6th. The track is available via all platforms to stream and purchase now: https://dermotkennedy.lnk.to/LostPR

After a recent sold-out run of shows in Australia and America including a stand-out debut performance at Coachella, Kennedy performed recent single ‘Power Over Me’ in his debut TV performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert followed by an appearance on one of America’s biggest talk shows with a performance on The Ellen Show.

The visual for ‘Lost’ taps into Kennedy’s poetic lyrics, following the lives of different individuals going through tougher times and looking to loved ones, family and friends for help and support; on the track Kennedy stated “Lost is a song I wrote about resilience and reliance. Bad things can happen and when they do, when you’re tested; you’re going to need the love and the shelter of certain people to hold you up and guide you through whatever storm you find yourself in. It’s about holding each other up through bad times.”

Kennedy started the year with an outpouring of critical acclaim in the 2019 tips lists, with the BBC including Dermot in their ‘Sound of 2019’ shortlist, being crowned ‘Best New Artist’ via a public vote by NPR Slingshot and tipped as a key artist to watch in 2019 by YouTube MusicMTVand Ticketmaster. Kennedy’s May UK tour features his biggest headline shows to date including a sold-out O2 Academy Brixton on May 8th followed by four sold-out nights at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

With his upcoming sold-out UK tour, extensive festival dates and a debut record in the works, 2019 is set to be a stand-out year for Kennedy. His global streaming numbers continue to rise (over 600m across all platforms and with 7m+ monthly listeners on Spotify alone) as well as receiving recent praise from the likes of the Evening Standard, British GQ, Complex Magazine and The Independent, all success points to Dermot Kennedy.
