‘Find the Water’ marks the beginning of a new campaign for The Coronas, the follow-up to their 2017 No.1 album ‘Trust the Wire’. The new campaign will culminate with the multi-platinum, arena-conquering four piece releasing their sixth studio album in March 2020. Produced by Rob Kirwan (Hozier, PJ Harvey, Local Natives, Editors, The Horrors) ‘Find the Water’ sees the band move into new musical territory, as lead singer Danny O’Reilly explains:

“Musically ‘Find the Water’ is unlike anything we’ve done before – melodically; the vocal delivery; even the arrangement is unusual for us, but yet it was one of those songs where we were all on the same page right from the start and it came together very quickly, which is always a good sign. And out of the 4 songs we recorded with Rob in LA, ‘Find the Water’ felt like the right jumping off point for what the album is going to be.”

Since the release of the 2017 album ‘Trust the Wire’ – the first on their own label and a chart topper in Ireland – The Coronas have enjoyed a renewed confidence and enthusiasm. Extensive tours saw them spend much of 2018 in America, including sets at Lollapalooza, Voodoo and ACL, as well as sell-out dates in Australia, Asia, Europe and some memorable shows in their homeland including a 15,000 capacity crowd gig in Dublin.

Whilst their sights are firmly set on the world stage – with a run of profile festivals already announced – Ireland will always be home and this summer sees The Coronas present The Long Way Home Festival. Returning as one of the biggest bands in Ireland, the band has curated a series of shows on which they will be joined by their favourite Irish and international artists.
