Athlete adventurer Ross Edgley has announced his debut live tour, having made history in November 2018 by pushing the boundaries of what the human body is capable of and becoming the first person to swim around the entire coast of mainland Great Britain.  Following sold out shows in London and Bristol, the tour starts on 19th May at Liverpool’s O2 Academy and culminates on 2nd June at the Aberdeen Lemon Tree, taking in 15 dates around the UK.

Now considered a leading expert in physical resilience, mental fortitude and work capacity, Ross published the Sunday Times Bestselling book ‘the World’s Fittest Book’ in 2018, and used the teachings of the book to complete his historic Great British  Swim in 157 days.  Based on the principles of the book, the World’s Fittest Live Shows will include sports experiments live on stage and unseen footage of Ross’ training and build up to the swim as he sets out to teach people “the human body is even more powerful than even our own minds often lead us to believe”. Expect tales from the world’s longest staged sea swim, packed with learnings from 23 weeks at sea, commentary and confessions from the Great British Swim and the physical and mental fitness secrets that will allow you to unlock your superhuman  potential.

Ross has been involved in the fitness industry in the UK for more than ten years; having started as an international water polo player, competing for Great Britain, he then studied sports science at the world-renowned Loughborough University School of Sport and Exercise Science. After receiving a 1st class honours degree, he decided to apply his practical and academic experience to become a strength and conditioning coach and performance nutritionist.

Ross is also co-founder at innovative sports nutrition company The Protein Works, having amassed a social media following of well over a half a million people, and continually looks to challenge the current doctrine of the fitness and nutrition industry in an effort to make things better.
