Two of the world’s most recognisable magicians, Penn Jillette and Piff the Magic Dragon, are joining forces for a brand-new stage show, Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe, which will tour the UK in 2026.
The nine-date tour begins on 10 September 2026 at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre, with further dates confirmed in Cardiff, Brighton, London, Birmingham, Manchester, York, Newcastle and Glasgow.
The show promises “jaw-dropping magic, side-splitting comedy and unforgettable showmanship,” and will feature two distinct halves. In the first, Penn (as “Pop”) and Piff perform solo segments that showcase their signature styles — Penn with his trademark wit and sleight of hand, and Piff with his eccentric comedy and illusions alongside his trusty canine companion, Mr Piffles. In the second act, the pair come together for a double-act finale designed to blend their unique approaches to magic and humour.
We caught up with Penn and Piff to talk about how they first met, how the idea for Piff & Pop’s Magic Shoppe came to life, what Penn is most looking forward to about returning to the UK — and whether either of them has ever used magic to get out of a tricky situation.
The tour marks a number of firsts for both performers. For Penn, it will be his first UK tour without his long-time stage partner Teller, following their celebrated 50-year partnership. For Piff, who was born in Forest Hill, south-east London, it will be his first UK performances in more than a decade since relocating to Las Vegas.
With the tour set to unite two distinctive talents and styles on one stage, it’s a show that promises to delight both comedy and magic fans alike. To pick up tickets for the shows, here is the link: https://www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/piff-and-pop/.
