Of Monsters and Men is an Icelandic indie folk/rock band formed in Garðabær in 2010. Known for their harmonious dual vocals, upbeat rhythms, and whimsical yet introspective lyrics, the group blends folk elements with indie pop and rock influences. The core lineup features co-lead vocalists and guitarists Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson, lead guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson, and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson.

The band rose to international fame with their debut album, My Head Is an Animal (2011), which included the breakout hit “Little Talks.” The track became a global sensation, earning multi-platinum status and propelling the band to major festivals and tours. They followed with Beneath the Skin (2015), Fever Dream (2019), and most recently, their fourth studio album, All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade (2025). This latest release marks their return after a period of reflection, showcasing evolved songwriting while retaining the signature energetic and emotive sound that fans love.

Currently, Of Monsters and Men are out on tour supporting All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade. Dubbed the Mouse Parade Tour, the run focuses on the UK and Europe in early 2026, with dates including sold-out shows at venues like Manchester’s Albert Hall (February 15), London’s Roundhouse (February 17 and 18), and others across cities such as Glasgow, Cardiff, Nottingham, Leeds, and Birmingham. Additional performances extend into spring and summer festivals, with appearances scheduled at events like Under the Big Sky in Montana (July 2026).

Many UK dates have seen high demand, with several already sold out.The band’s live shows are celebrated for their dynamic energy, layered harmonies, and engaging stage presence, often turning intimate folk melodies into anthemic crowd experiences. As they continue performing across Europe and select international spots, Of Monsters and Men remain a vibrant force in indie folk, connecting with audiences through heartfelt storytelling and infectious melodies.
