Tom Grennan, the Bedford-born, soul-infused pop-rock sensation, has been lighting up stages with his gritty vocals and heart-on-sleeve songwriting since breaking out with his 2018 debut Lighting Matches. With a voice that blends raw emotion and stadium-sized energy, he’s racked up multi-platinum success across three albums, Evering Road (2021), What Ifs & Maybes (2023), and his latest, Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be (released June 20, 2025). Known for hits like “Little Bit of Love” and collabs with Calvin Harris (“By Your Side”) and Joel Corry (“Lionheart”), Tom’s journey from a near-pro footballer to a chart-topping artist is all about resilience and realness. His Grennan ’25 tour, featuring 11 UK and Ireland dates, is his biggest yet, and the Co-op Live show in Manchester proved why he’s a crowd favourite.

On Friday, Sept 19, 2025, Tom Grennan turned Manchester’s Co-op Live into a pulsing, sweaty celebration of heart, hustle, and pure musical joy. Kicking off at 7:30 PM, the 23,500-capacity venue buzzed with fans ready for a night of anthems from his Grennan ’25 tour, supported by Tom Walker and Rianne Downey. Tom stormed the stage with “Full Attention,” setting the tone with his gravelly, soulful swagger, instantly commanding the crowd. The setlist, a 20 song rollercoaster, leaned heavily on his new album Everywhere I Went, Led Me to Where I Didn’t Want to Be (8 tracks, including “Higher” and “Crown Your Love”), while weaving in fan faves from What Ifs & Maybes (“How Does It Feel”), Evering Road (“Little Bit of Love”), and Lighting Matches (“Found What I’ve Been Looking For”).

The energy was electric as Tom prowled the stage, his cheeky charm and Northern Quarter vibe pulling everyone in. Standout moments included the heart-wrenching “Boys Don’t Cry,” where his vulnerability hit like a gut punch, and the euphoric “Don’t Break the Heart,” which had the crowd roaring. Covers like Ella Henderson’s “Let’s Go Home Together,” Chase & Status’ “All Goes Wrong,” and Calvin Harris’s “By Your Side” were pure singalong magic, while “Lionheart (Fearless)” with Joel Corry turned the arena into a dance floor. “Little Bit of Love” closed the night, leaving fans buzzing with its uplifting defiance.

The seamless flow, with tracks like “Certified” and “Royal Highness” showcasing Tom’s knack for blending introspective lyrics with infectious hooks. The Co-op Live’s state of the art setup lowered counters, step free access, and a designated respite room, made the night inclusive. Tom’s connection with Manchester shone through, cementing his status as a performer whose both relatable and larger than life.
