Trailblazing new music showcase Live At Leeds In The City has added over thirty artists to the line-up of its November festival. The one day multi-venue event will mark eighteen years of celebrating the best of Leeds as well as spotlighting both national and international rising artists on Saturday 15th of November as the festival brings over 100 artists to a dozen of Leeds’ famed independent venues, bars and creative spaces.
Leading this announcement are Fat Dog, the South London five piece who performed one of the most talked about sets of this year’s Live at Leeds In The Park to a capacity DIY Big Top stage. The critically acclaimed quartet will bring their explosive live show back to Leeds as they take their rightful place at the top of the Live at Leeds bill this Autumn.
Joining Fat Dog in Leeds this November are New York’s latest indie electronic sensations Fcukers, Anglo-American indie-rock duo Witch Post, London duo RIP Magic and lots more including Monster Florence, Arkaya, Bold Love, Runo Plum and Formal Sppeedwear.
They join previously announced artists including headliner Jalen Ngonda plus Katy J Pearson, Du Blonde, Divorce, Panic Shack, Warmduscher and many, many more.
With a strong commitment to fostering new music in the city, this year sees the continuation of the long-standing partnership between Live At The Leeds and BBC Introducing West Yorkshire. Curated by the BBC’s Emily Pilbeam, the BBC Introducing stage is entirely dedicated to showcasing the region’s most exciting new artists.
An innovator of the multi-venue festival format in the UK, Live at Leeds will once again take up residence in some of the cities most recognisable and beloved venues including The Brudenell Social Club, Belgrave Music Hall, Oporto, Leeds University Union and more with the full venue list to be revealed soon.
Launched in 2007, Live at Leeds has become one of the country’s most recognisable and important festivals dedicated to championing new artists. An important stop on the careers of thousands of musicians, in its storied history the festival has notably hosted early performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, The 1975, George Ezra and countless others.
