Set against the sweeping parkland of Euston Hall in Suffolk, Red Rooster Festival returns with a line-up that digs deep into the roots and reaches for the stars. Just beyond the formal gardens throughout the wild meadows, woodlands, and by the lake, Red Rooster builds its own magical weekend escape. This twelfth year of gathering is set to host a rich, raucous celebration of rhythm & blues, outlaw country, gospel fire where the raw rock ’n’ roll spirit reigns supreme.

Leading the charge is the luminous Valerie June, bringing her celestial blend of Appalachian folk, soul and psychedelic country. Blues royalty Bobby Rush delivers swampy grooves and decades of juke-joint wisdom, while gothic-Americana pioneers The Handsome Family spin their dark desert ballads under Suffolk skies.

Garage-rock preacher Jon Spencer turns up the heat, and folk troubadour Will Varley returns with stories from the road. From the hypnotic stylings of Sam Amidon to the voodoo-blues swagger of CW Stoneking, this year’s bill is steeped in authenticity.

Country vibes come courtesy of Kassi Valazza, powerhouse vocalist Kezia Gill, and blues-punk duo Left Lane Cruiser. Expect vintage swing from Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, gritty Chicago blues via The Cinelli Brothers, and beatbox-blues brilliance from Son of Dave.

Rising stars and road-worn legends share the same dusty stage: Imogen Clark, Patrick Sweany, Lucca Mae, Jack Browning, and the high-octane blues-rock of Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse. Soul and swagger arrive in force with Acantha Lang, Nashville-via-Norfolk storyteller Maya Lane, garage-pop upstarts The Shadracks, and Canadian country-rock heavyweights The Washboard Union. Big brass energy explodes courtesy of Red Hot Riot Big Band, while cult favourites Lassie, alt-country dreamers Sweet Giant, and garage-soul firecrackers Mama Oh No keep the tempo high.

Rounding out this sprawling sonic sermon: Morten Valence, UK country torchbearer Ags Connolly, roots collective Jazmine Banks & the Wildhearts, rock ’n’ roll renegades The Dirty Strangers, plus Ryan Evans, Rainy Eyes, Satellite Inn, Rob Corcoran & The Necessary Evils, Motel Sundown, Elaine Palmer, George St. Claire, Holman Hilts & Delaney, and Samuel Taylor.

From front-porch picking sessions to after-dark dancefloor communion at the Howlin’ Woods, Red Rooster Festival remains a haven for music lovers who like their sounds real, raw and resonant. Red Rooster offers a whole range of Southern-style hospitality and activities too. Expect long table banquets, bbqs, wild swimming, a full kids’ activity programme, hot rod and motorcycle display, poker lounge, craft beers and bourbons, amazing food stalls with a cajun slant, luxurious boutique camping and much much more….

Don’t forget the ever-popular Will Lord with his stone age skills workshops too. Besides featuring on Ben Fogle’s “New Lives in the Wild,” Will was a specialist instructor to Ray Mears. The go-to ancient skills man!

Tickets are on sale now just £154.50 for the entire weekend including camping, parking and a weekend of revelry and relaxation.
