Rising UK artist ADMT releases his brand new single, ‘Come Along’, a powerfully personal blend of pop, charting the pain, growth, and quiet victories of a young artist who’s been through more than most.
Hailing from Doncaster, Yorkshire, ADMT (real name Adam Taylor) marks a new chapter in his career with his first release via new label home BMG Records – a song of heartbreak, reflection & resilience. Written during a train ride to London, ‘Come Along’ is a song for anyone who’s ever looked around at the life they’ve built and wished one specific person could’ve stayed long enough to see it. Through vivid lyrical imagery, ADMT expresses that quiet ache with brutal honesty and grace. Listen here.
That honesty isn’t new for him. Known for writing from the heart, ADMT’s music has always been a reflection of his lived experiences, from growing up in a difficult family environment to battling through mental health struggles. His background, steeped in perseverance, and Northern grit, gives his music a grounding that few artists can claim.
He’s also driven by a deeper sense of responsibility and to speak on the things that matter: poverty, housing issues, youth education, and especially mental health. “They’re not just topics; they’re real. People are going through it. I’ve been through it. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, to carry stuff in silence. That’s why I make music the way I do, so people feel less alone. So they feel understood.”
Initially honing his musical skills through busking during the COVID-19 pandemic, ADMT transitioned from playing drums in a band to becoming a solo performer after his friends encouraged him to sing at a party. His cover of 50 Cent’s ‘Best Friend’ went viral after 50 Cent himself shared it with his 29 million followers, propelling ADMT into the spotlight . Following this success, he released singles like ‘Without You’, ‘Man Now’ and ‘Wish You Loved You’, which have resonated with fans. His debut EP, Without You, saw him support artists such as Anne-Marie and James Arthur, as well as perform at Reading and Leeds, Y-Not, and Kendal Calling.
