Seven-time GRAMMY Award winning artist Alanis Morissette is heading to the Yorkshire coast for an unmissable summer headline show.
The iconic Canadian/American musician will play TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Sunday July 5 – one of just seven shows she is playing in the UK this year, and the last date of her tour. Alanis Morissette is the final headliner to be revealed for TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre 2026. It takes the number of shows at the UK’s largest open air arena to 28 – the biggest summer line-up in the venue’s history.
Alanis’s exclusive run of shows across the UK follows her hugely popular 2025 World Tour which saw her play a limited run of sold-out UK dates between shows in South America and Europe. Her 2026 UK dates include Glasgow, London, Lytham Festival, Blenheim Palace, Powderham and she has just been announced as the Saturday night headliner at the inaugural State Fayre festival in Chelmsford on June 27.
For 30 years Alanis Morissette has been one of the most influential artists in contemporary music with her deeply expressive music and performances earning vast critical praise. Her GRAMMY-winning 1995 debut album Jagged Little Pill was followed by nine more eclectic and acclaimed albums and her music and most notable hits Ironic, You Oughta Know, Hand in My Pocket and Thank U remain as current today.
In 2019, Jagged Little Pill the musical made its Broadway debut and was nominated for 15 Tony Awards, winning two at the 2021 ceremony.
In 2021, Alanis’ sold-out world tour was the number one female-fronted tour of the year. Her 2024 North American Triple Moon Tour sold more than half a million tickets and packed every venue to capacity, before her sold-out 2025 UK Tour and a sensational first ever Pyramid Stage set at Glastonbury.
Alanis joins a Scarborough Open Air Theatre line-up that includes such artists as Hollywood Vampires, Michael Bublé, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, CMAT, Bastille, Richard Ashcroft, Anastacia, Scissor Sisters, Garbage, Skunk Anansie, James Taylor and Teddy Swims, plus many more.
