After a whirlwind year of sold-out shows, critical acclaim, and chart success, Andrew Cushin is set to return home in spectacular fashion.
The Newcastle-born singer-songwriter has announced a landmark headline show at O2 City Hall Newcastle on Saturday 25th October, as part of his ongoing UK tour celebrating the release of his chart-crashing second album, Love Is For Everyone – Cushin’s first entry into the UK Top 40.
Fresh from a string of packed-out shows across the UK and gearing up to take his music stateside later this year, Cushin will return to one of the most important stages of his career – the 02 City Hall – where he previously sold out two back-to-back nights in December 2023.
Now, backed by a reinvigorated, full-throttle live band featuring Johnny Bond, formerly of Catfish and the Bottlemen, on lead guitar, Cushin is ready to take things to the next level in front of his hometown crowd.
Fans can expect a full-throttle set packed with soaring new anthems from Love Is For Everyone and crowd favourites from his much loved debut Waiting for the rain.
With his unmistakable Geordie soul, raw lyricism, and the kind of voice that fills every corner of a room, Andrew Cushin has emerged as one of Britain’s most compelling young artists. Discovered and mentored early on by Noel Gallagher – who produced his debut single “Where’s My Family Gone” – Cushin has gone on to share stages with the likes of Paul Weller, Louis Tomlinson, The Sherlocks, and Jake Bugg.
This homecoming gig promises to be a night of thunderous singalongs, heartfelt moments, and a celebration of just how far this working-class lad from Heaton has come – and where he’s headed next.
Andrew Cushin will perform live at 02 City Hall Newcastle on Saturday 25th October.
Tickets go on sale Friday 6th June at 9am via TEG Europe and this link: https://www.tegeurope.com/events/andrew-cushin/
