‘AVICII FOREVER’ – a compilation from Interscope Records, Pophouse and the Avicii Estate featuring 19 essential tracks from Avicii’s iconic catalogue, as well as the brand-new song ‘Let’s Ride Away’ featuring Elle King – is out now.
The special release is a celebration of producer, DJ and songwriter Tim “Avicii” Bergling. The compilation features his beloved hits including ‘Wake Me Up’, ‘Levels’, ‘Heart Upon My Sleeve’ (feat. Imagine Dragons) and more, capturing the spirit and sound that made him a global phenomenon.
AVICII FOREVER also includes the new track, ‘Let’s Ride Away’, that showcases Avicii’s genre-defying sound, blending folk and electronic elements with powerful vocals by Elle King. Produced by Tim Bergling, Luke Laird and Carl Falk and written by Tim Bergling, Kacey Musgraves and Luke Laird, the new song showcases Avicii’s ability to mix genres and create music that resonates deeply with listeners. The track also features the same brass band that appeared on his previous hit ‘Fades Away’.
‘AVICII FOREVER’ is available in physical formats and digitally, as well as a visualiser on YouTube showcasing the cover art. The art is a rendering of a physical monument of the Avicii logotype hand-chiselled in stone. The monument and compilation cover art is a homage to Avicii’s iconic music that, just like stone, lasts forever. The stone was hand-picked from Bjärlöv in Skåne, Sweden, close to where Tim spent his summers growing up.
