Christmas comes early this year as the Backstreet Boys release the digital deluxe version of their celebrated Christmas album ‘A Very Backstreet Christmas,’ (BMG). The deluxe edition features 2 additional tracks — a reggaeton version of the Spanish hit “Feliz Navidad” and their original song “It’s Christmas Time Again.”
This new rendition of ‘A Very Backstreet Christmas’ will set the holiday season alight, giving fans even more of the Backstreet Boys Christmas magic. Both tracks were previously exclusive to the Target cd and vinyl, but now are available to fans worldwide. The album is also available on Dolby Atmos, highlighting their combined musical creativity.
Alongside this deluxe release is a video for their reggaeton rendition of “Feliz Navidad,” featuring a festive imagining of the band just in time for the holidays.
The band is currently gearing up for their next run of shows at Sphere for their “Into the Millennium” residency, on December 26, 27, 28, 30, 31, January 2 and 3, and February 5, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, and 15. The residency so far has sold out at incredible speeds, the band earning widespread praise for their electrifying performances, state-of-the-art visuals, and groundbreaking stage production. The show features Sphere’s groundbreaking immersive visuals and the Backstreet Boys’ signature choreography, including a landmark moment where they became the first artists to physically fly through space within the venue.
Billboard declared, “The group arguably put on their best performance yet at The Sphere” and that “the gentlemen’s vocals shined. They didn’t miss a note or a beat.” USA Today heralded that “this was more than a mere concert, it was a thrill ride,” and a “romp through pristinely sung ballads overflowing with yearning and gleaming pop anthems buffed to a melodic sheen.” The Hollywood Reporter exclaimed that “Into the Millennium’s a game-changer for Sphere” and that the “Backstreet Boys pushed the limits of Las Vegas’ Sphere with mind-boggling residency launch.”
