One of the UK’s most acclaimed and treasured songwriters, Badly Drawn Boy, has announced a final run of his special 25th anniversary tour celebrating his groundbreaking album, “The Hour Of Bewilderbeast.” The sold-out tour in Spring 2025 saw Damon and his band visit some of the UK’s most iconic venues before culminating at 3 shows at London’s EartH Theatre and 2 nights at Manchester’s Aviva Studios. Now due to phenomenal demand, five new dates have been added for December 2025. The tour will visit Liverpool Olympia on Tuesday 16th December, Cardiff, Sheffield, Edinburgh and finish at Sunderland’s Fire Station on 22nd December.
With a full band, Badly Drawn Boy will be performing the Mercury Prize winning album in its entirety – including the much-loved singles ‘Once Around The Block’, ‘Another Pearl’ and ‘Disillusion’. Badly Drawn Boy, aka Damon Gough’s Mercury Prize winning debut The Hour Of Bewilderbeast was originally released on BDB’s own label Twisted Nerve through XL Recordings on June 26th 2000 and quickly established Badly Drawn Boy as a leading figure in the British music scene. The album’s eclectic mix of folk, rock, and electronica, coupled with Damon Gough’s distinctive songwriting and poetic lyrics, resonated with audiences worldwide.
