Crashing The Car explores the feeling of love as both an exciting rush and a quiet surrender. Speaking on the new single, Blair explains, “‘Crashing The Car’ is a portrayal of love as both a beautiful thrill and a surrender. It’s about unconditional love and the acceptance of fate. Even if we don’t make it, it’s all worth it.”
Blair continues, “It’s not about the car crashing as such but more that if it did, what a way to go out in the world – next to the person you’ve fallen in love with.”
Crashing The Car follows the previously released Wouldn’t Be Right, an ebullient anthem about finding ways to smile through the toughest of times. And Butterflies, an unflinching ballad touching on the topic of everlasting love. Blair’s most empowered, heartfelt work to date.
