Swedish singer-songwriter Boy In Space confirms details of his debut album alongside fresh tour dates and single ‘Who’s Crying When I’m Leaving?’, out now.

After captivating listeners with his 2025 EP ‘The Butterfly Affect’, Robin Lundbäck dusts off his beloved moniker and releases new music in the shape of ‘Who’s Crying When I’m Leaving?’. Built on delicate acoustic guitar, the track blooms into its full emotional weight with driving drums, violin and even the hint of a tambourine. The vibe of the single keeps true to Robin’s newfound pop-country influence, still honouring his signature emotive sound. Lyrically, he reflects on the loneliness and disconnection that comes from a life of constant movement and the deep longing to find a sense of stillness.

“Since I was young, I’ve always moved and traveled a lot. I’ve had to learn how to let go and detach, not because things got ugly, just because distance slowly does its thing. And I understand why I’ve been a hard friend to keep at times,” he reflects.

“Now in later years I’ve come to realize how important it is to dig my feet into the dirt next to the people I love. Even though I still have goals to reach before I can comfortably do so, I hope that I’ll find my place. Maybe I’ll get a sweeping feeling of content, and finally feel like I belong.”

About Boy In Space:

After years away from the stage, Boy In Space is finally returning to a world he has missed. With over half a billion streams to date, his distinctive sound has already captivated audiences worldwide. Following the release of last year’s EP ‘The Butterfly Affect’, he spent the summer focusing on songwriting and personal growth. This March, he’ll take his music across Europe on his very first headline tour, performing new songs alongside beloved fan favorites.
Robin’s journey began with early breakout tracks like the heart-wrenching pop anthems ‘Cold’ and ‘7UP’, and has since continued to evolve through releases such as the EP ‘Copium’ and last year’s ‘The Butterfly Affect’, where he embraced a warmer, more organic sound. This fall, he is finally set to release his debut album – a body of work that highlights his unmistakable voice, raw self-reflection and a more organic sound, recorded with a live band.
As he returns to the road, Boy In Space invites listeners to get closer than ever — transforming streams into faces, shared rooms and all of that space in between into something real.
