One of the most distinctive voices in American music, Christopher Cross will return to the UK for a special nine date tour in May 2026, performing iconic hits from a remarkable career spanning over four decades. Tickets go on general sale Friday 3 October at 9AM BST via https://www.aegpresents.co.uk/event/christopher-cross/, with AEG Presents and venue presales from Thursday 2 October at 9AM BST https://www.aegpresents.co.uk/christopher-cross-presale/.

The multi Grammy winning artist, best known for timeless classics like ‘Sailing’, ‘Ride Like the Wind’, and ‘Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)’ – will be joined by very special guest Chris Difford, co-founder of Squeeze and one of Britain’s most respected and decorated songwriters.

The 2026 UK tour will see Christopher Cross perform at some of the nation’s most loved concert venues. Kicking off at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on 12th May, he will then head to celebrated halls and theatres including the world famous London Palladium, Cambridge Corn Exchange, The Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead, York Barbican, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, before concluding with shows at Birmingham Symphony Hall, The Beacon Bristol, and Edinburgh Usher Hall. Each show promises an unforgettable night of elegance, emotion, and the signature smooth sound that has made Cross a global soft rock icon.

In 1980, Cross made Grammy history by sweeping the “Big Four” categories for the first time ever – Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year, with his self-titled debut album. He went on to win an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for ‘Arthur’s Theme’ and has released over a dozen critically acclaimed albums. In 2020, he marked his 40th anniversary with The Complete Works – a definitive box set celebrating his extraordinary career.

Supporting Christopher Cross on the tour is Chris Difford, the legendary lyricist behind ‘Cool for Cats’, ‘Up the Junction’, and ‘Tempted’. A founding member of Squeeze, Difford’s songs are the soundtrack of a generation, filled with wit, warmth, and raw honesty. His solo performances are equally powerful – part musical journey, part stand-up storytelling.
