The story of Courtney Hadwin is remarkably distinctive. She went massively viral via her audience for ‘America’s Got Talent’, with fans across the world amazed to see a 13-year-old who sounded like Janis Joplin in her prime. But rather than instantly capitalise upon that moment, Courtney took the time to discover who she was as an artist and as a person: a learning curve that will pay dividends when she releases her long-awaited debut album ‘LITTLE MISS JAGGED’ on September 12th. Courtney today amplifies anticipation for the album as she shares her brand new single ‘D.N.A.’. LISTEN HERE.

Coming across like a streetwise ‘Uptown Funk’, ‘D.N.A.’ is a rampage of infinite funk, anarchic fun and unrestrained good times, which doesn’t waste a moment in its pursuit of hedonistic escapism. And while Courtney’s world class vocal talent is already well-known, the song captures her skills in a different light. Every scream, wild yelp and soaring high note is the sound of an artist who is simply loving the release of being able to express herself to the max. She wrote the song with the Grammy-winning producer Kevin Bowe.

and a thrilling disregard for genre conventions. ‘D.N.A.’ introduces a different lane to her sound following the timeless ‘60s R&B balladry of ‘You Only Love Me When I Lie’ – surely her future signature song – and the peppy pop-punk bounce and soulful snarl of ‘Spellbound’.

‘LITTLE MISS JAGGED’ is available to pre-save / pre-order HERE. In addition to its digital release, it will also be issued on limited edition black vinyl and limited edition digipak CD – all physical copies will also be signed.

Courtney Hadwin has been building up to this point with a succession of singles over the past two years, receiving millions of streams for original tracks such as ‘That Girl Don’t Live Here’ and ‘Monsters’ as well as her takes on songs by Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Lil Nas X and Jonas Brothers.
