Imbued with a resounding sense of joy and playfulness, its 13 tracks balance a powerful feeling of confidence and ebullience, alongside agile nuance and delicate vulnerability. Alongside the album, Craig shares his latest single ‘Rain’.
On the track Craig quotes, “Sometimes a special song comes around that not only takes your breath away, but feels so perfectly aligned that you somehow feel your life will never be the same again after that 1st listen. That’s ‘Rain’.”
Opening emphatically with the rallying cry of UKG head turner ‘Wake Up’, ‘Commitment’ spans the best of British music; from the rich house refrains of ‘Leave The Light On’, through to the perfect tropical pop of ‘SOS’ and the warm embrace of afrowave on the title track. Craig also flawlessly delivers, throughout, signature R&B riffs, ad-libs and runs that he is known and loved for.
Alongside the album release, Craig will be embarking on an in-store tour across the UK, kicking off at HMV in Birmingham on 8th August and wrapping up at Pryzm in Kingston on 13th September. Tickets are available here.
