Running from 3pm to 8pm, DAY FEVER offers a proper night out that doesn’t wreck your weekend, the perfect balance! There’s no dress code, no pressure, and the hangover is optional, just wall-to-wall feel-good tunes and an open invitation to dance like nobody’s watching.
“If you look back at the first Sheffield one to what we are now, the evolution of it is amazing,” says founder Vicky McClure. “It was still the same people that wanted the same thing; they just wanted to go out in the day, so it didn’t ruin their weekends and just have a dance!”
It’s not just the crowds that are growing, it’s the spirit of the entire thing. “It feels like a massive house party at your nan’s,” laughs Vicky. “No drama, no egos, just people acting daft, getting dressed up, and having the best time.”
Every city has its own flavour at DAY FEVER, but you can always expect to hear the hits. Local DJs who know their crowds tailor each soundtrack to what they will want to hear. “Manchester will go mad for Oasis ,” says Vicky. “We don’t do requests but half the time we’ve got what people are after anyway!”
DAY FEVER remains a family affair through and through. Newest recruit and DJ Katie Owen, daughter of co-founder Jonny, brings 76,000 Instagram followers behind the scenes with her immersive live streams, and even breaks the no request rule! “People feel like they’re there and more involved if you play their song request,” Katie says.
With tickets selling out in hours and a growing waitlist of new towns ready to join the tour, 2026 is shaping up to be DAY FEVER’s most joyful, jam-packed year yet.
As Jon puts it: “It’s like a wedding party where everyone actually wants to be there, and that’s magic.”
