Electron unleashes ‘Lie To Me,’ a taut new single that pushes the band’s boldest impulses forward. The track fuses serrated riffs with a soaring chorus, pairing raw heaviness with an unexpectedly vulnerable edge. “‘Lie To Me’ captures the feeling of drowning in your own thoughts while searching for freedom,” Jason explains.
Taking cues from the dynamic weight of Architects, the atmospheric intensity of Spiritbox, and the uncompromising grit of Korn, Electron carve out their own lane with a sound that is as punishing as it is cathartic. Lyrically, the single grapples with deception, the erosion of trust, and the lure of false comfort — a battle cry for anyone wrestling with self-doubt and disillusionment.
The release will be marked by a special launch showcase at the Imperial Palace of Big Red in Camden on October 30, offering fans an early chance to hear ‘Lie To Me’ live in full force. The band will then continue their campaign across the UK, with headline performances at Brighton’s Water Bear Music Bar (Oct 31) and Manchester Gullivers (Nov 8), before rounding out the year at Cardiff’s Fuel Rock Club (Dec 7, Thank You Ozzy Vol 1 Festival) and supporting Defences on December 5th (Downstairs at The Dome). In 2026, they’ll hit the stage at Ride Rock Roll Metal Fest (July 25).
Since releasing their debut record Defiance in 2023, Electron has honed an identity defined by resilience and rebellion. With every release, they’ve continued to build a space for the outliers — a place where heavy sounds and raw honesty collide. ‘Lie To Me’ pushes that vision further, turning pain into power and isolation into something willfully communal.
‘Lie To Me’ is available on all streaming platforms now..
