Written by Gary and Becky after they shared stories about their lives in music and their work as artists, the duet perfectly showcases their effortless vocal chemistry. With soaring harmonies and beautifully crafted melodies wrapped in a warm acoustic, feel-good vibe, the track is the perfect summer release.

Commenting on how the song came to life, Gary said: “It’s always interesting talking about how songs come about. This one was a crazy process because it was the first time Becky and I had met. She wandered in and we spoke for a little bit about music and being an artist and then the music just started to flow and the room changed. As soon as I had played a couple of chords on the piano, she came to life and it was amazing to see.

“I’m so proud to know Becky and even prouder to have worked with her. She is an amazing artist and, above all that, an incredible songwriter. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Gary is one of Britain’s most successful songwriters and record producers. As part of Take That, he has won eight BRIT Awards and sold over 45 million records. Aside from his achievements with his fellow bandmates, he has released six solo albums and co-written and produced music for other renowned artists, including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams.

Earlier this year, he hit the road for a huge solo tour, The Songbook Tour 2025, which celebrated his illustrious four-decade-spanning career. Barlow delighted sell-out audiences around the UK with an array of songs from his much-celebrated back catalogue of hits with both Take That and as a solo artist.
