Gary said: “What I love about this EP is the way these collaborations have come together. Becky is someone I’ve known for years and we’ve written together many times, so it was nice to be able to do something official. With Rosa, I first came across her music on YouTube and I was so inspired by her voice that I actually wrote ‘Out Here Looking’ specifically around her voice. It was a different way of working for her so when she came to the studio to record her vocals, I think it felt really fresh for her creatively. Our voices blend well together so I’m really happy with how that track sounded in the end. And then Colbie – what a voice! That song started in London with me on my own, reflecting on a friend’s situation and then when I got the chance to work with Colbie and the fantastic Gavin DeGraw on it, I just couldn’t say no.”

Rosa said: “I was truly thrilled to hear from Gary, and the very first time I listened to the song, I was struck by how beautiful and relatable it was—I didn’t have to think twice. I instantly knew it would be a great idea to fly to the UK and record my vocals there. Our voices blend so naturally, and I’m so happy with how it all came together.”

Gary is one of Britain’s most successful songwriters and record producers. As part of Take That, he has won eight BRIT Awards and sold over 45 million records. Aside from his achievements with his fellow bandmates, he has released six solo albums and co-written and produced music for other renowned artists, including Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams.

Earlier this year, he hit the road for a huge solo tour, The Songbook Tour 2025, which celebrated his illustrious four-decade-spanning career. Barlow delighted sell-out audiences around the UK with an array of songs from his much-celebrated back catalogue of hits with both Take That and as a solo artist.
