Instrumentalist and founding member of 2CELLOS known simply as HAUSER previously announced he is bringing his ‘Rebel Is Back Tour’ to Europe later this year, including dates at The O2 London, on Thursday 27 November and The AO Arena Manchester on Saturday 29 November.
He now unveils “Le Vent, Le Cri”, a haunting and cinematic reimagining of the classic originally composed by Ennio Morricone for the 1981 French film ‘Le Professionnel’. The evocative piece is the latest single from HAUSER’s forthcoming album CINEMA, out September 12th via Sony Music Masterworks and available for preorder here. The track is available to stream and download now.
This latest release follows his interpretations of the “Mission: Impossible” theme, Phantom of the Opera’s “Music Of The Night”, “A Time For Us”, and “Writing’s on the Wall”, the Oscar-winning song from Spectre.
CINEMA features 25 unforgettable melodies recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Robert Ziegler. Songs range from the epic “Tara” theme from Gone with the Wind (1939) to Billie Eilish’s Oscar-winning song “What Was I Made For” from Barbie (2023) and “Writing’s on the Wall,” the Oscar-winning Sam Smith song from the 2012 James Bond film Spectre.
HAUSER recently concluded his second solo North American tour visiting 34 cities, ending with a sold-out show at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL. The tour spanned major cities and venues, including Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre.
