After a spectacular 2024 that saw him reach the top of the Official UK Singles Chart & Billboard Hot 100 with his Brit Award nominated single ‘Too Sweet,’ world-renowned singer-songwriter Hozier celebrates 10 years of his multi-platinum selling self-titled debut album with a very special vinyl repack on the album – Out Now on Island Records. Alongside the release comes a brand new remix of ‘Like Real People Do,’ featuring NATURE.
Putting music at the heart of the conversation about nature’s conservation and restoration, Hozier has teamed up with Sounds Right to create a unique rendition of ‘Like Real People Do’. The remix features sounds of the natural world, with 50% of the recording royalties directed to frontline conservation in the world’s most precious and precarious ecosystems. The nature aspect was recorded by Martyn Stewart and The Listening Planet in County Wicklow, where Hozier spent his formative years, adding an element of magic to the brand new version of the track. Infusing the hauntingly beautiful folk tones with the ethereal sounds of nature, the collaboration creates a stunning version of the fan favourite. Listen HERE.
The anniversary reissue arrives on a selection of vinyl variants including a limited edition x2 LP custard vinyl, a limited edition x2 LP baby blue vinyl – only available from Hozier’s store and a US Amazon exclusive x2 LP on olive green. As well as presenting the album in its glorious original form, the release will feature bonus tracks ’In The Woods Somewhere’, ‘Run’, ‘Arsonist’s Lullabye’ and ‘My Love Will Never Die’ on vinyl for the very first time. The standard album will also be reissued on cassette.
