British singer-songwriter Izzy Withers returns with her latest single, ‘Tender Love’, a track exploring the complexities of desire and emotional connection, capturing the longing for something deeper in the aftermath of passion. With her striking vocals and intimate lyricism, qualities her audience has grown to love, ‘Tender Love’ builds on her debut EP ‘Freckleface’ while revealing a more vulnerable and introspective side of her artistry. On the track Izzy quotes, “Tender Love is about craving a love that’s real. As a lover girl, in a world that seems to be full of nonchalance, finding genuine love is difficult. This is a song about holding onto past relationships just to feel something, even if it’s not right for you.”

Freckleface, released via Freckleface / Ferocious Talent on September 19th, introduced listeners to Izzy’s world through five intimate tracks exploring the trials and triumphs of moving to a new city as a teenager and stepping into a fresh chapter of life. The EP balances vulnerability with anticipation, using acoustic textures to create a warmth that feels both intimate and inviting.

Seamlessly blending neo-soul and pop, Izzy’s sound is defined by honeyed vocals and golden-hued melodies. Her diary-like lyricism resonates with heartfelt honesty, marking the London-based artist as one to watch in 2026. ‘Freckleface’ is available here.

Since moving to the capital aged just 16, Izzy has captivated audiences including standout live performances at All Points East alongside Lola Young and Loyle Carner, BBC Introducing’s ‘Summer by the River’ and previous stints performing backing vocals with the acclaimed Flames Collective, sharing stages with RAYE at the first-ever headline NFL London Game halftime show and Sasha Keable.

With just three singles under her belt, Izzy has earned recognition from major tastemakers, including Apple Music 1, where she was selected as Rebecca Judd’s ‘Ascending Artist,’ as well as BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, and BBC Radio 2. She recently took her talents beyond performing, hosting the ‘Your Own Pace’ stage at Little Simz’s Meltdown at the Southbank Centre in June.
