j-hope of 21st century pop icons BTS has released a new solo single, “Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla),” and an accompanying music video.

The global trendsetter returns with a new single three months after the release of his two chart-favorite singles “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” and “MONA LISA,” cementing his status as one of the most sought-after global artists.

“Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)” is a hip-hop track that captures the thrill of falling in love at first sight. Imbued with refreshing honesty, the lyrics depict an infatuation towards a confident and irresistible other. Its minimalistic production strikes a perfect balance with j-hope’s rhythmic rap and addictive hook. The track features GloRilla, whose unmistakable delivery and bold charisma bring an extra edge to the track, amplifying its fearless energy. Following the releases of “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” and “MONA LISA” earlier this year, “Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)” continues j-hope’s streak of infectious love songs, while showcasing the ever-evolving depth of his musical spectrum.

j-hope recently graced the cover of Billboard’s May issue spotlighting his highly successful solo stardom. A true boundary-breaker, j-hope made history as the first South Korean male artist to headline a solo stadium concert in North America, with a two-night run at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles this April. His single “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel),” released on March 7, soared to No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 82 countries and regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, immediately upon release. Following the beloved single, “MONA LISA,” released on March 21, became his seventh solo track to land on the Billboard Hot 100. j-hope delivered a first-ever live performance of the track during the sold-out Brooklyn stop of his first solo world tour ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE in North America’ at Barclays Center on March 13 & 14.

“Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)” is available on streaming platforms worldwide now. Additionally, a solo version titled “Killin’ It Girl (Solo Version),” featuring j-hope’s vocals only, has been released simultaneously.

As part of his 31-show solo world tour, ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE,’ j-hope will conclude his highly successful journey with the final performance at Goyang Stadium in South Korea on June 13, 2025, coinciding with the release of his new single.
