Acclaimed across the board, nominated for three GRAMMYs, and already picking up nods in a host of end of year lists including MOJO (#33), Uncut Magazine (#20) and Rough Trade (#8), the album was co-produced by Jason Isbell and Gena Johnson and recorded in New York City at the famed Electric Lady Studios in October, 2024.

To celebrate the record landing in Rough Trade’s top 10 albums of 2025 they have released a very special exclusive gold vinyl. Limited to 1000 copies, the album captures the intimate 10-song set recorded at the legendary Vicar Street in Dublin and includes ‘Gravelweed,’ ‘Eileen,’ ‘Bury Me’ and the title track from the new album along with some older Isbell favourites and a cover of John Prine’s ‘Storm Windows.’

Foxes In The Snow marked Isbell’s first new music since the award winning Weathervanes, with his band the 400 Unit, in 2023. Isbell’s breakthrough solo album, Southeastern, was released in 2013 and spawned a modern classic in “Cover Me Up”. Since then, he has gone on to win six GRAMMY Awards and broken records as the first artist to ever take home the trophy for Best Americana Album three times. He recently added ‘actor’ to his skillset with a formidable performance opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorses’ Killers Of The Flower Moon. He will next be seen in RZA’s upcoming One Spoon Of Chocolate.
