Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Katie Melua has announced details of the 20th anniversary reissue of her multi-platinum selling second album Piece By Piece, an album that solidified her as one of the UK’s most successful young artists of the time at just 21 years old. The 20th anniversary remaster is available as a Limited-Edition Double Vinyl LP and 2CD album.
The reissue features a previously unreleased demo of ‘I Cried For You’, released today and available HERE. A track that lyrically sees Katie vicariously mourning the departure of Jesus Christ through Mary Magdalene; Katie’s deeply personable and soulful delivery has provided a safety blanket for listeners around the world. This demo version puts Katie’s raw vocal in the spotlight, further exposing the track’s emotional and resonant depth.
