Critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Katie Melua has announced details of the 20th anniversary reissue of her multi-platinum selling second album Piece By Piece, an album that solidified her as one of the UK’s most successful young artists of the time at just 21 years old. Piece By Piece (20th Anniversary Remaster) will be released on 5th December via BMG and is available to pre-order/save HERE.

Remastered at London’s Metropolis Studios and expanded with a collection of bonus material, including b-sides, live performances, and unreleased demo recordings from Katie’s archive, the 22-track reissue builds on the defining release that went multi-platinum across Europe and marked a pivotal moment in Katie’s career.

The 20th anniversary remaster is available as a Limited-Edition Double Vinyl LP and 2CD album.

The reissue features a previously unreleased demo of ‘I Cried For You’, released today and available HERE. A track that lyrically sees Katie vicariously mourning the departure of Jesus Christ through Mary Magdalene; Katie’s deeply personable and soulful delivery has provided a safety blanket for listeners around the world. This demo version puts Katie’s raw vocal in the spotlight, further exposing the track’s emotional and resonant depth.
