Multi-platinum selling British soul singer Kenny Thomas has released a brand new single ‘Shout Out’, the latest taken from his upcoming first studio album in 15 years ‘Unstoppable’.

Released on 8th August on Kartel, the joy in this new album is typified by ‘Shout Out’, a duet with his friend Kim Wilde, which came about in serendipitous circumstances.

For anyone familiar with Kenny’s classic soul hits such as ‘Outstanding’, ‘Best Of You’ and ‘Thinking About Your Love’, the irresistible energy and infectious grooves of these 11 new songs will be instantly familiar. For fans and newcomers alike, the wisdom of Kenny’s voice is utterly compelling, even when it’s bouncing over seemingly carefree bangers such as ‘How Does It Feel’ and ‘If I Can’t Have You’.

Kenny’s recently announced ‘The Unstoppable Tour: The Very Best of Kenny Thomas’ will begin at the Glasshouse in Gateshead on 19 March, before travelling onto Manchester, the London Eventim Apollo for what will be Kenny’s biggest ever headline show, and Southend, before its finale at Birmingham Symphony Hall.

The tour dates coincide with the 35th anniversary of Kenny’s debut album ‘Voices’, and he will perform hits from across his career, capping a remarkable resurgence story

From his 90s heyday of multi-platinum singles and albums, BRIT Award nominations and an incredible run of Top of the Pops performances (9 performances in just 3 years), Kenny’s life took an abrupt turn in dealing with the incredibly rare terminal illness of his daughter Christina.

Through miraculous endeavour however, involving rare treatment Kenny worked to provide funding for, Christina survived, though still requires regular care.

This incredible turn-around in recent years has inspired Kenny’s resurgent musical career which has seen him reestablish himself. In 2024 he completed his biggest ever UK tour, which included a sold out show at the London Palladium, whilst now, with ‘Unstoppable’, he looks set to accomplish even bigger feats.

The Very Best of Kenny Thomas UK Tour Dates 2026:

19 March Gateshead Glasshouse
20 March Manchester Apollo
21 March London Eventim Apollo
