As announced on The Scott Mills Radio 2 Breakfast Show this morning, Madness will make their BBC Radio 2 In Concert debut with an exclusive intimate performance. The set will be recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre in London’s New Broadcasting House, with the band playing some of their most iconic hits.
Camden’s finest will perform in front of a small audience of lucky fans on Wednesday 26th November, which will broadcast in Jo Whiley’s show on Radio 2 (7-9pm) and BBC Sounds on Thursday 11th December, featuring a lively chat with the band.
The show will also be broadcast on BBC Two and iPlayer in December.
Madness, says: “There’s nothing quite like playing in the BBC Radio Theatre, the intimate feel in that room just creates so much vibe and energy. It’s that kind of joy we live for, so we couldn’t ask for better, really!”

Tickets for the Radio 2 In Concert with Madness will be allocated via a ballot which opens for registrations from Tuesday 28th October 08:10 until Tuesday 4th November 23:59.
