This year has seen rising pop-country artist Maya Lane enjoy a series of major live moments, from joining Noah Kahan’s BST Hyde Park extravaganza after winning American Express’s Unsigned competition to hitting C2C and supporting BRELAND and Margot Price. It’s the perfect time for Maya to step into her future as she now shares the new single ‘I Don’t Know You Yet’. Taken from her upcoming EP ‘The Hurt And The Healing’, coming on September 4th, the single also preceeds her debut headline show at The Grace in London on September 3rd. Listen HERE.

‘I Don’t Know You Yet’ is a beautifully stripped-back song which puts two of Maya’s most captivating qualities to the fore: the elegant vulnerability of her voice and her honest, diaristic lyrics. Its story is a near universal experience – where will you find that one love that changes everything?

‘The Hurt And The Healing’ will be Maya’s third EP after last year’s ‘Diary Of An Overthinker’ and her 2022 debut ‘Childish Games’. In addition to the new single, it also features three of her recent tracks: the bright American sound of ‘Beyond Alaska’, the tender folk of ‘Never Be Enough’, and the bittersweet pop bounce of ‘Bitter’. Collectively the EP sees Maya put her own spin on classic and contemporary influences such as Fleetwood Mac, Kacey Musgraves, HAIM and Joni Mitchell. The stylish set lives up to her previous acclaim, which has included ten Radio 1 Future Pop plays from Mollie King as well as broad tastemaker and streaming platform support. Pre-save HERE.

Tickets for Maya’s show at The Grace are now available HERE. She is also confirmed to play the country, Americana and roots festival The Long Road on August 22nd. Her previous live highlights have also included a major theatre tour with Far From Saints, shows with Alyssa Bonaguru and Jack Kane, plus The Great Escape and SXSW London.
