As The Jockey Club Live season in the North West approaches a spectacular finale – having welcomed thousands of music and racing fans from across the region and beyond for unforgettable performances from future Merseyside legends Red Rum Club, Jamie Webster, and the iconic Tom Jones – we’re excited to reveal one final addition to the line-up for Friday 8th August at Haydock Park Racecourse.

Bringing the curtain down in true style, two-time BRIT Award winner BECKY HILL will make her eagerly awaited headline debut. Known for her powerhouse vocals and genre-defining hits, Becky is set to deliver a high-energy, hit-filled performance that promises to light up the racecourse.

Joining her as special guest is rising dance-pop star MIA KIRKLAND, an exciting new voice making serious waves on the UK music scene. At just 20, Mia has already clocked over 1 million streams worldwide with her breakout single “Right Now”, earning major radio support from BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and Capital Dance. Following the buzz of her follow-up “I Just Called Your Ex”, Mia now teams up with drum & bass legend Danny Byrd on the explosive new single “Lonestar”, out August 15 via B1/Ministry of Sound. Her showstopping vocal, raw emotion and dancefloor energy makes this a future club anthem and solidifies her reputation as one of the most promising young artists to watch.

Mia Kirkland said, “Becky Hill is one of my biggest inspirations so to support her will be a true honour! I’ve heard incredible things about the Merseyside crowd and am counting down the days until I see you all there.”

The Jockey Club Live events are renowned for combining an electric evening at the races with a spectacular concert, in an informal and relaxed open-air setting. Throughout 2024, the concert series welcomed some of the nation’s biggest music talents to historic racecourses across the country, with headliners including Busted, James Arthur and Becky Hill. In addition to world-class live music, the events provide a selection of culinary delights for all, ranging from street food to the racecourses’ array of exceptional restaurants.
