BST Hyde Park today announces a full bill of support acts set to play ahead of a headline set by neil young and the chrome hearts. Already announced for the most legendary line up of the summer on Friday 11 July are Yusuf / Cat Stevens and Van Morrison, and they will be joined by Amble, Alice Merton, Naima Bock, Everyone Says Hi, BLUAI, Sarah Julia, Our Man In The Field, Kelly McGrath, Sam Wilkinson and HOLiDAY MYSTICS. This year, neil young and the chrome hearts are heading across Europe and North America on their Love Earth World Tour. With his band, the chrome hearts – Spooner Oldham (Farfisa organ), Micah Nelson (guitar and vocal), Corey McCormick (bass and vocal), Anthony LoGerfo (drums) – Neil Young (guitar and vocal) is bringing new and old tunes to the stage, with the album Talkin To The Trees out on 13 June.
Irish folk trio Amble have just released their debut album, Reverie, showcasing their signature sound: relatability, intimate storytelling and authenticity.
Naima Bock’s music draws on her Brazilian family’s roots and taps into music handed down through the generations.
Alice Merton packs an introspective and analytical punch, following the release of her 2024 EP, Heron.
Led by former Kaiser Chief Nick Hodgson, Everyone Says Hi released their eponymous debut album in January.
On their debut album, 2024’s Save It For Later, BLUAI embarked on a road trip through the sonic landscapes.
Amsterdam duo Sarah Julia this month released their second EP, Only Making It Worse, delving into a slightly poppier soundscape.
The London-based Our Man In The Field, led by Alex Ellis, delivers storytelling songwriting in an Americana tradition.
Kelly McGrath returns to BST having appeared on Bruce Springsteen’s bill in 2023.
Holiday Mystics are a four piece romantically referenced as “a chaotic Fleetwood Mac and a mystic Red Hot Chili Peppers”.
South Londoner Sam Wilkinson released his debut album, Everything’s Alright, in November.
Neil Young is, without doubt, one of the most influential and prolific songwriters to emerge from the 1960s. Since his career began in Canada’s folk scene, Young has released more than 40 studio albums, as well multiple live albums, whether with Buffalo Springfield or Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, or solo or with his band Crazy Horse.
Described as one of pop’s master songwriters, Yusuf / Cat Stevens launched to fame in the sixties with chart-topping pop hits like ‘Matthew and Son’ and ‘First Cut is the Deepest’. Following a serious breakdown in health, he resurfaced as one of the most profoundly influential singer-songwriters of the seventies.
A maverick, a contrarian and a songwriting genius, there is no one in music quite like Van Morrison. From fronting up Them in the 1960s to the arrival, seemingly from the stars, of Astral Weeks, he has cemented his place as one of the greats.
Neil Young joins fellow BST Hyde Park headliners for 2025 Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Stevie Wonder and Jeff Lynne’s ELO. Expect more incredible announcements soon, for the 2025 edition of the UK’s most anticipated summer event.
