Following the announcement of his forthcoming album Knees Up, Olly Murs has released his new single ‘Run This Town’. Knees Up is released November 21st on BMG. Olly has also revealed he’ll play a very special, intimate show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on December 8th.

Produced by Mark Taylor, co-written with Sam Preston (The Ordinary Boys) and recorded at Metrophonic Studios, ‘Run This Town’ is an infectious ska inspired pop anthem. An earworm of a track, packed to the brim with hooks and draped in horns, ’Run This Town’ is made for a skank on the dancefloor. Listen to ‘Run This Town’ HERE.

“This song’s been with me since my first album back in 2010. I’ve always loved it, but it never quite found the right moment… until now,” Olly says of the track. “It’s got that Madness-style energy that I’ve always wanted to tap into. When I started working on the ‘Knees Up’ album late last year with the style of songs I was writing it finally felt like the right time to bring it to life and add it to the mix. I’ve wanted to release this one for years and now it’s time!”

After an incredible run of outdoor summer shows and a huge sold-out 15 year anniversary arena tour, Olly will return to London for a very special intimate show at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on December 8th. Fans can pre-order Knees Up today from the official store to get exclusive ticket pre-sale access to Olly’s gig at O2 Forum Kentish Town from HERE.

For Knees Up Olly has gone back to those heady days and revisited his roots, the 8th of a glittering career. “This is the first album in years I’ve made authentically for me – it’s daring, fun, a bit bonkers – and the most buzzing I’ve felt about music in a long time,” Olly says of the record. “My fans have been there through everything over the last 15 years, and I can’t wait for them to hear something fresh & fun from me. Time for a cheeky little Knees Up!!”

The album will be available on transparent green vinyl, standard CD, Deluxe CD, which comes with four additional live tracks (‘Troublemaker,’ ‘Heart Skips A Beat,’ ‘Save Me,’ and ‘Dance With Me Tonight’), and Lanyard CD, available only to fans who pre-ordered the album at Olly’s summer live shows, as well as an exclusive signed version available from Amazon.
