Only The Poets keep their unstoppable momentum rolling with a set of celebratory events, marking the release of their debut album And I’d Do It Again, out 30th January 2026 via Capitol Records. Including a special, all-day ‘4 gigs at 4 pubs’ event in their hometown of Reading, the band will bring their trademark energy and heartfelt connection to a string of intimate venues and record stores, giving fans the chance to celebrate and connect in person.

With songs that speak openly about love, loss, mental health, and emotional resilience, Only The Poets have become a voice for a generation unafraid to feel deeply. Their lyrics are lived experiences – not just stories, but shared truths. Latest single “Thinking Bout Your Ex” is a woozy, cinematic track that blends spacious 90s R&B textures with frontman Tommy Longhurst’s captivating vocals. The cut captures the uneasy spiral of comparison and jealousy that lingers in the aftermath of a break-up whilst confronting insecurities that men rarely speak about: transforming them into something honest and cathartic.

Earlier this year, the band sold-out O2 Academy Brixton in just ten minutes and making headlines with the historic £1 show in the process. It ignited an important conversation about accessibility in live music, with proceeds from the show supporting the LIVE Trust, championing inclusivity across the UK’s live scene.

For Tommy Longhurst, Andrew “Roo” Burge, Clem Cherry, and Marcus Yates, music has always been about honesty and connection. Continuing to turn raw feeling into widescreen sound, Only The Poets reaffirm their place as one of the UK’s most vital and emotionally resonant new bands, and the release of And I’d Do It Again is just the beginning.
