Last night pop icon Pixie Lott hosted the world’s first pop up gig for Labubu lovers. To celebrate the release of her new single, Coming Of Age, the singer-songwriter played an acoustic set to the most in-demand accessory of the Summer and their adoring fans at Gallery Club London in Kensington. Labubu Dolls have turned into a global craze – and Pixie revealed that despite the exclusive gig being limited to 75 guests it was inundated with thousands of RSVPs and messages – making it one of the most sought after tickets in town.
Pixie Lott, who is expecting her second child in the Autumn, wanted to create something fun incorporating some of her favourite and biggest loves of the moment – music, cocktails (mocktail for her) and Labubu’s! The fans turned up with their Labubu’s, with some bringing their entire collection, and enjoyed the swapping station, the performance and the Pixbubu themed cocktails. The performance was also live streamed on TikTok.
Speaking of the event, Pixie Lott added: “I really wanted to do something fun for the single release and I couldn’t not invite my Labubu! They have been my accessory of the summer for my handbags! Then I thought, why not get all the other Labubu lovers involved?! It was so much fun to perform to loads of Labubu’s as well as their proud owners!”
