Guess who’s back? After shooting back into the charts, earning a Gold record and becoming a viral sensation in the wake of the unforgettable ‘Perfect (Exceeder)’-soundtracked scene in ‘Saltburn’, Princess Superstar’s comeback goes turbocharged into 2026 with the new single ‘YUM-ME’. Listen HERE.
‘YUM-ME’ is unmistakably Princess Superstar. Thumping electro beats, old school hi-NRG flavours and modernist hyperpop mania, bring the technicolour hedonism that makes her an artist unlike anyone else. Her in-your-face raps overflow with mega-charisma, provocative sass and ultra-confident braggadocio. Still want more? You’ve got it, with a feature from the Superstar’s kindred spirit Eloise Keeble.
‘YUM-ME’ was written by Princess Superstar and Eloise Keeble with the track’s producers Two Planets. Its impact will be amplified by a video Instagram sensation Chaos Dreamland.
Princess Superstar says, “I am beyond excited to drop my new single ‘YUM-ME’ which kinda feels like ‘Perfect (Exceeder)’ for this wild 2026 ‘comeback’ era of mine. It is part of an album release which will be in May – my first album in 13 years! Feels like a delicious dream.”
13 years! But there has been plenty going on beyond the chart success, intense media attention and hundreds of millions of streams that followed in the wake of ‘Saltburn’. There was another huge viral moment when she was championed by Doja Cat; a surprise international rediscovery of her 2008 track ‘Licky’; and remixes from David Guetta, Oliver Heldens and Todd Terry.
Making the most of the moment, Princess Superstar’s new music is on fire too – see ‘PRAY’, ‘Harrison Ford’ and ‘Goddess’ for evidence. They all promise great things for the upcoming album, especially with the help of collaborators such as Laidback Luke (Calvin Harris, Avicii), Oscar Scheller (PinkPantheress, Ashnikko), Whethan (Charli XCX, Dua Lipa) and Aliyah’s Interlude (‘It Girl’).
With a new Princess Superstar era underway, a quick flashback to her original chapter – a time when she collaborated with Lana Del Rey, Prodigy, Moby, Grandmaster Flash, Amy Schumer and Margaret Cho, and released seven of her own studio albums.
