Robbie Williams has announced a special live show to coincide with the release of his forthcoming album, ‘BRITPOP’.
He will perform at the legendary music venue Dingwalls in Camden, London on 9th October, which will be the most intimate show of Robbie’s career. He will play his debut album, ‘Life Thru A Lens’, and his most recent, ‘BRITPOP’, in full at the special show – making it an unmissable event for fans.
Fans who pre-order ‘BRITPOP’ from the Robbie Williams store will receive early access to tickets for the new live date. More information at britpop.robbiewilliams.com. Artists revealed who also appear on the album include Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Gaz Coombes (Supergrass), Mexican pop duo Jesse & Joy and Gary Barlow. Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi is also featured on the album on first single ‘Rocket’ which was released earlier this summer.
The ‘BRITPOP’ cover artwork is a nod to the album title featuring a painting of one of Robbie’s most iconic looks – his red tracksuit outfit that he wore to attend Glastonbury Festival in 1995 at the height of the Britpop era.
Robbie is currently on the European leg of the ‘BRITPOP’ stadium and arena tour. The critically acclaimed UK leg of the tour received incredible reviews and featured an array of surprise guests including Lulu, Self Esteem, Lethal Bizzle and Five. Robbie played shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bath, performing to over 250,000 people in the UK in just two weeks. More information and tickets for the tour are available now
