Robbie Williams has today released his brand-new single ‘Spies’ taken from his highly anticipated upcoming album ‘BRITPOP’ which will be released on Columbia Records on 10th October.

‘Spies’ is an anthemic and uplifting guitar-driven indie pop song with an instantly catchy chorus written by Robbie and long-time collaborators Karl Brazil and Owen Parker. Listen to the single here.

‘Spies’ is the second track to be released from ‘BRITPOP’, which is available to pre-order now, following the previously released ‘Rocket’. ‘BRITPOP’ will be available in a variety of formats including CD, deluxe CD, cassette, alt cassette and digitally, while signed bundles will also be available for a limited time via the official Robbie Williams store.

Robbie said: “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British Music. The new record is raw, there are more guitars and it’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual. I’m immensely proud of this as a body of work and I’m excited for fans to hear this album.”

Following the success of the critically acclaimed UK leg of the ‘BRITPOP’ stadium and arena tour, more British live shows will be announced soon. Fans who pre-order the album from the Robbie Williams store will receive early access to future UK 2025 live dates. The UK leg of the tour finished last month to incredible reviews and an array of surprise guests including Lulu, Self Esteem, Lethal Bizzle and Five, with shows in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bath. The gigs – where Robbie performed to over 250,000 people in the UK in just two weeks – marked the first opportunity for fans to hear new song ‘Rocket’ played live, which spectacularly opened the shows. The ‘BRITPOP’ tour continues this summer with dates across Europe. More information and tickets for the tour are available now from tickets.robbiewilliams.com.

The ‘BRITPOP’ cover artwork is a nod to the album title featuring a painting of one of Robbie’s most iconic looks – his red tracksuit outfit that he wore to attend Glastonbury Festival in 1995 at the height of the Britpop era.
