BRIT and Emmy nominated, critically acclaimed singer, songwriter and musician Sam Ryder has announced his ‘Road To Wembley’ UK tour. The tour will see Sam perform a series of intimate underplay shows in independent venues across the UK in October, ahead of his biggest headline show to date at London’s Wembley Arena on November 6.
Each city and venue was hand picked by Sam, holding sentimental value from the early days of his career as an upcoming artist. ‘Road To Wembley’ kicks off at The Cavern Club in Liverpool, followed by Cavern in Exeter, before journeying to Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff and culminating at King Tut’s in Glasgow.
Fans can pre-order Sam’s forthcoming new album Heartland here for access to the pre-sale at 10AM BST on September 17. Tickets will go on general sale here at 10AM BST on September 19. All dates will see Sam perform two shows, both a matinee show and an evening show.
The ‘Road To Wembley’ tour will follow the release of Sam’s highly anticipated second studio album, Heartland, due for release via Artist Theory on October 17 and available to pre-order/save here. The album takes listeners into the intimate corners of Sam’s soul over the past year, tracing a profound journey of growth, both personally and professionally. After two decades of unrelenting dedication to his music, Heartland is the album Sam Ryder has long yearned to create. Sonically fresh and elevated, and lyrically resonating on a deeper level than ever before, the 13 tracks that comprise Heartland unveil a side of Sam you’ve never seen or heard before.
