With violence and melancholy, gentleness and brutality, SIERRA VEINS mixes moods and styles to create an overpowering sound inspired by darkwave, EBM and synthwave. She first began releasing music in 2017 with a specific idea and artform in mind, and after the early success of her first two singles Gone and Unbroken in 2019 – both of which accumulated millions of streams in no time – she found herself thrown into the forefront of the scene.
In 2022 Yves Saint Laurent selected Unbroken for its Bold Lipstick campaign and later that year she toured with synthwave godfather Carpenter Brut throughout the USA and Europe, playing at legendary venues such as Los Angeles Fonda Theater, Paris Le Zenith and London Shepherds Bush Empire.
She released her debut album, A Story Of Anger, in 2023 with key collaborations from Carpenter Brut, Los Angeles’ Health and UK trio Gunship and followed the release by touring extensively, selling out venues across Europe and playing such prestigious festivals as Hellfest (FR), Gotik Wave Treffen (DE), Les Vieilles Charrues (FR) and Roadburn (NL).
The new album, In The Name Of Blood, was released through her own label and distributed via Bloodblast / Big Wax and presented a more introspective work concerning self-development and identity, a move related to a name change earlier in the year from SIERRA to SIERRA VEINS.
