Returning with a bold new EP that pushes the boundaries of genre and emotion, “Just Another Sonic Monday™”, SOPHIE GREY.’s latest project, fuses shimmering electronic textures with raw live instrumentation. With each track on the record sounding like a sonic journey through nostalgic, yet futuristic time, the soundscapes weave together infectious hooks, layered synths, and rhythmic flourishes. SOPHIE’s deep-rooted love for melodic storytelling and groove-driven production shines through, offering listeners a collection that’s as danceable as it is emotionally resonant.
New single ‘Maybe, Baby’ lays heavy with a cosmic groove that blends breezy funk rhythms with lush, otherworldly synths that feel like they’re beaming in from deep space. It’s a sonic daydream—equal parts weightless and immersive—layered with shimmering textures and celestial melodies that glide over a foundation of head-nodding basslines.
Speaking about new single, SOPHIE GREY. says, “Maybe, Baby? She’s the girl who gave him her phone number but hasn’t heard back… Maybe he’ll call, or maybe he’ll text her back? Maybe, baby.”
