It’s a double dose of brand new music from Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu. The Gold-certified global phenomenon delivers “The Men” which is accompanied by an official music video, alongside “Warrior Chant”, both out now via Better Noise Music. Listen to “The Men” here.
Traditional Mongolian strings and gritty, gruff riffs define “The Men,” a track that fuses indigenous instrumentation with hypnotic tribal chanting. Accompanied by a new official music video, the song captures the “Man’s Inner Spirit” through a heavy, groove-laden lens.
Meanwhile, “Warrior Chant” delivers a hard-charging chorus and a taut metallic soundscape, featuring the band’s signature horse head fiddle solos that imitate a horse’s gait.
These releases follow the band’s recent appearance on “Pray to the Sun” from the Netflix series One Piece and precede a massive 2026 touring schedule. The Hu are set to join Iron Maiden at Knebworth Park on July 11 before embarking on a 23-date headline UK and European tour this September and October, bringing their commanding live show to iconic stages like London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
More news on their forthcoming 3rd album to come…….
Thought for the day from Galaa of The Hu:
“The Men’ is written based on Mongolian philosophy of ‘Man’s Inner Spirit’ or ‘Хийморь’ and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song tries to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share it with the rest of humanity. The lyrics are chants that guide young and old men alike to be headstrong and to have a dream that cultivates goodness. We only wanted to focus on the positives that can make a man ponder about who he is in this world and wonder about how he can have a positive inner spirit when listening to it. We hope our fans will be able to capture every fibre of Mongolian Man’s way of living through this song.”
