Indie/rock rising stars, The Rooks have today revealed the official music video for track, Found My Reason Why. The grainy visuals see the band performing to the track with the backdrop of the tower blocks in their hometown. Shot by long-time collaborator Daniel Blake, the video can be seen here.
Earlier this month, The Rooks announced their first physical offering in the form of their debut EP, Noise & Confusion, being pressed to vinyl. Last week, they sold out 100 unique personalised copies to their most dedicated fans, in just half an hour!
The band added, “We’re looking to give back to the fans that were here at the very start. This is going to be a very big year.” Released last November as a love letter to their fan’s, Noise & Confusion can be streamed here.
The Glaswegian stalwarts have quickly become ones to watch on the live scene, playing a slew of shows and gathering an ever-growing solid fanbase of rabid fans. The Rooks have already hit the ground running this year, and just last week made their live London debut at the Victoria in Dalston for The Money Trench Podcast.
The five-piece have also supported the likes of Miles Kane, Brògeal, Overpass and The Academic across January and February. The Rooks ended the year by emphatically selling out their headline show at Glasgow’s Art School (500 capacity), in the last week of December – a statement of intent for what’s to come from the band in 2026.
