Everyone’s favourite trio, Tiny Habits, return with their gorgeous new song ‘Right In Front Of Me’, radiating the sound of summer in every note. The lead vocals soar while their trademark harmonies sing on this blue-sky gem. Listen to ‘Right In Front Of Me’ HERE.
With a backbeat that hints of Fleetwood Mac, Right In Front of Me is the first taste from their forthcoming sophomore album. Written by Cinya Khan and Judah Mayowa, arranged by Tiny Habits, and produced by Benjamin Millman, this new track promises much for the future.
The band explain their new song: “’Right in Front Of Me’ is about understanding sometimes the biggest thing holding you back, is you. The three of us have grown a lot together, watching each other through awkward moments. ‘Right in Front Of Me’ is the moment when you stop worrying about if you look too silly or too ‘gay’ and allow yourself to exist unfiltered and unrestrained.
“’Right in Front of Me’ is the moment at the club or the party where your friends have made the dance circle we all know too well. People are jumping in, dancing and flailing about, and you just SWEAR you can’t get in the centre. But for some reason, the bravest version of you pushes you into the centre and gives it all you’ve got anyway. Realizing they’ll yell and cheer your name regardless. Realizing it’s not that deep. Realizing that breaking through the fear is always worth the liberation. So just DANCE!”
So much has happened in Habits world since the release of their acclaimed debut album All For Something almost two years ago. They’ve travelled the world collecting fans who have warmed to their sound as have so many of their musical heroes and colleagues.
The band love to play live as anyone lucky enough to see them can testify. Last year they were special guests to James Taylor on his 43 date US tour and supported Sarah McLachlan across Canada on her 30th Anniversary Fumbling Towards Ecstasy tour. In January they played Noah Kahan’s Out of the Blue Festival in Cancun and in February sang with Matty Healy in Newcastle at the Sunday for Sammy charity show.
For Tiny Habits, there’s never a dull moment.
