This summer has seen the British DJ and producer TS7 ignite huge crowds at Bassline Festival and Bassfest by dropping ‘Only One’, an incendiary new take on Katie May’s 2007 underground favourite ‘You’re Not The Only One’ – complete with the singer herself. Having sparked anticipation with fans requesting an official release, the duo now share ‘Only One’. Listen HERE.
‘Only One’ brings a new energy to the track with Katie May’s soaring topline as powerful as ever as she delivers the track’s hyper addictive hook. It’s a version which adds a contemporary new flair without losing any of the essence of what made the original so memorable.
TS7, real name Thomas Sampson, says, “I spent many weekends as a teen raving to this one. It was an absolute anthem in my hometown Bradford so I jumped at the opportunity to give it a rework for 2025. It’s one of those hooks that you find yourself singing without even realising, really excited to get this one out to the world”.
A leading figure in the bassline and UK garage worlds, TS7’s rise commenced in 2007 leading to tens of millions of streams for big hitters like ‘Real Raver’ (with Slick Don), ‘Freak’ and ‘Slow Down’. The ever consistent artist is still excelling in 2025, with ‘Only One’ following his recent releases ‘Secrets’ and ‘Fallin’ as well as an epic remix of Jorja Smith’s ‘The Way I Love’.
Always in-demand, TS7’s other major remixes include big names across the sonic spectrum such as James Hype, Estelle, Sigala, Bru-C and Disciples. His other collaborators have included Clementine Douglas, Karen Harding and Skepsis.
