Twin Atlantic have today announced two landmark reissues to celebrate key moments in their career: the 10th anniversary edition of their critically acclaimed 2014 breakthrough album Great Divide, and the first-ever vinyl release of their 2009 debut album Vivarium – both out November 21st.
Frontman Sam McTrusty says; “Great Divide took us all over the world and gave us the loudest singalongs of our lives. To mark its 10th birthday, we’re reissuing it on special edition vinyl with new artwork and two bonus tracks including an unreleased demo and a live song from Glastonbury. We’ll be playing the whole record live in Glasgow and London – the two cities where it means the most.”
And bassist Ross McNae adds; “This record has always been about the connection between the songs and you, the fans who gave it life. As a thank you, we’re also doing the first-ever vinyl pressing of Vivarium and playing it in full as our own support act. Thanks for sticking with us – here’s to another decade.”
The news arrives off the back of a summer full of festivals including Slam Dunk, Download Festival, Isle of Wight, 2000 Trees, TRNSMT & more, as well as several select headline shows across the UK.
The band will release a special 10th anniversary edition of Great Divide – a landmark record that launched them to mainstream success and featured the career-defining hit ‘Heart and Soul’. The album topped the Scottish Albums Chart and reached #6 on the UK Albums Chart, eventually earning Silver certification in the UK for over 60,000 sales. It returns to vinyl in a limited edition LP + 7” format, alongside a new Dolby ATMOS mix to bring its soaring sound to life like never before. The original 12-track vinyl has been out of stock since 2016 – making this release highly anticipated among longtime fans and collectors.
