British country-pop powerhouse Twinnie releases the video for her sultry, soul-baring new single “Midnight Company.” Her UK tour kicked off on 20th March, with sold out shows in Birmingham (Rodeos BBQ) and London (The Lexington). She has more sold out shows coming up in York (The Crescent – 28th March), Manchester (The Deaf Institute – 29th March) and Brighton (Komedia Studio – 4th April).
Dripping with late-night vulnerability and haunting honesty, “Midnight Company” explores the blurred lines of love, loneliness, and longing. Crafted for those quiet moments we rarely admit to (like the familiar arms we reach for when the world feels too heavy), Twinnie captures the pull of old habits and the subtle slipping of reality in a track as seductive as it is sincere.
“Midnight Company is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” Twinnie shares. “It’s about someone I loved deeply but could never quite get right. The constant push and pull, breaking a cycle that kept repeating. I love the groove… it feels very country-pop and passes the dance test! Justin Klump, Jeffrey Middleton, and I wrote it in about 20 minutes. It came together that quickly!”
From the opening line, “I’m not your girl, you’re not my man,” the song sets the stage for a night of crossed boundaries that feels both like a mistake and a necessity. With lyrics like, “You’re a little lost and I’m a little lonely / Baby shut your mouth, I need you to hold me,” Twinnie exposes the unspoken truths of complicated entanglements.
The track also sets the stage for Twinnie’s highly anticipated Dirt Road Disco Tour, bringing her high-energy live show to fans across the UK.
